'I have so many memories of my dressing up box as a child.
The antique gowns & hats that would overwhelm little Loulou; these fabrics & the stories I used to imagine behind them is my original inspiration behind my Loulou Bontemps style.
What makes these pieces so special to me & what I think makes them so unique & exclusive; is the whole process behind each creation.
The leathers are all chosen individually depending on their texture & quality. The antique trinkets are part of my ever growing collection of handpicked wonders from the Uk & France. The linings are an excitng variety of raw silks & one off antique fabrics; that keeps them all unique to their owner & very difficult for me to let go of!'
