Fashion is a massive industry all over the world, but Europe in particular is known for being home to a huge number of fantastic designers and fashion houses. Subsequently there are a number of European fashion events held on the continent that people go to, to see what will be hot in the next season. These are essential events for designers to showcase their new garments and to allow buyers and the press to see the next trends. Here are some of the best fashion events Europe has to offer.

Milan Fashion Week (22-28 September)

Today there are fashion weeks held around the world but one of the most respected and revered is Milan fashion week. Italy is known for being home to a very fashion-conscious population and numerous famous designers have originated there, such as Giorgio Armani and Gianni Versace.

Paris Fashion Week (29 September - 7 October)

Paris is another place that is synonymous with fashion and style. It is a city known for its architectural beauty but also the beauty of the clothes that adorn many of its inhabitants. Paris fashion week is held at the Carousel du Louvre, a perfect setting to display artistic new creations.

London Fashion Week (17-22 September)

Fashion is one of the things that England does really well, with our designers contributing greatly to the current world fashion scene. As with the above Milan and Paris fashion events, London Fashion Week is held twice a year to show designs for summer and winter collections. The upcoming September show will feature next year's spring/summer collections

LFA - London Fashion & Art (21 September)

As one of England's newest fashion events, London Fashion & Art is a bit of a small fry in the world of fashion giants but it is an interesting and exciting event aimed at encouraging new designers and artists and to showcase underground talent and help people get their name out there in the industry.

LFA is being put on by fashion and art online boutique director Loulou Bontemps, and it is set to be one of the most exciting new fashion events.
